Sorry so long with no updates, but we’ll be correcting that soon.  Much has happened over the last several months, most noteworthy, the long awaited release of the Acockalypse Now CD on May 26! So far response to the new album has been phenomenal. The CD is available worldwide from CD Baby, and will be coming soon to all the usual digital distribution outlets including iTunes.  Check our merchandise page for ordering info.  We’ll get this page updated soon and fill you in on all recent developments.  In the meantime, you can always check out our myspace page for the most up to date news and show info!

At last, some updates! First of all, Cockfight Club welcomes the mysterious Elusive into the fold. In addition to being an active member of The Cemetery Surfers, Inhalt Man, and his solo project Elusive Groove, Elusvie began playing keyboards with Cockfight Club in October.

Speaking of October, we had a great Halloween show at the Princess Theater.  You can see a few pics from that crazy night at the new Fall/Winter 2006 Photo Gallery, along with a TON of pics from our photo shoot with Lisafer last weekend.

Yes, work is continuing on the new album, Acockalypse Now. Several tracks are now in the can, and we should have some pre-release versions posted for you very soon, so stay tuned for details!

Long time, no updates! But that is a testament to how busy we’ve been this summer!  Lots of great shows and lots of good times, and more still to come! Many thanks to Mark and Jeff at the Princess in Columbus, Andrea at Dr. Loves in Tupelo, Matt at Club Metro in Corinth, all the bands we’ve played with, and especially everyone who came out and rocked with us at the shows!  And don’t forget to check our calendar at our myspace page for all the latest shows we have scheduled.

Lots of exciting stuff is going on in the world of CFC.  We have now filled out our live line-up with bassist Jason Green who made his debut with us last Saturday night at the Princess. Also work has officially begun on the new album, Acockalypse Now, which should be released in early 2007. Watch for a pre-release track coming soon! And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.  We have more exciting news brewing, so be sure to stay tuned!

Last night’s show was amazing! The night started out with a great set from our pals the Hamburger Hobos, followed by us, and then an absolutely incredible set from Mankind Is Obsolete!  Those guys are surely one of the best live bands I have ever seen.  Check out some pics from the evening on our Summer 2006 Gallery!  And don’t forget to check our calendar on our myspace page, because lots of new shows have been added with more coming soon!

Wow! We had so much fun last Friday night at our show in Columbus!  The historic (and supposedly haunted!) Princess Theater is the coolest venue in the world, and mad props to our good friends the Hamburger Hobos and the Cemetery Surfers!  You guys rock! Special thanks to Jeff and the whole Princess crew for everything, and extra special thanks to everyone who came out! The band is currently rehearsing intensely for the reign of terror we’re planning on launching this summer, so watch for us at a venue near you!  We’ve had a few personnel changes and we may still fill things out with another member, but the current line-up is awesome, consisting of Ken Calloway on vocals and guitar, Jackson Roye on guitar and backing vocals, Jessie Jones on drums, and Graceless Lacy on keyboards and backing vocals.  Check out some recently posted rehearsal pics on our CFC 2006 gallery!

Lots of cool stuff continues to happen in the world of Cockfight Club!

Cockfight Club’s “Vampyric” is currently NUMBER ONE on Underground Records’ Top 100 Charts!  Go there and vote now!

Also, continuing their unstoppable domination of the airwaves, Cockfight Club can now be heard on Krush Radio!  Tune in tonight at 1 AM Central time when Ken will be kicking it with the one and only DJ Genocyde!

Editing continues on the film Apparitions Unrenowned and the Haulin Ass To Hell video. I promise you will be amazed.

And last but not least, check the photos page for the new CFC 2006 gallery.  I expect this one to grow quite large before the year is out as we document 2006:  THE YEAR OF THE COCK!!!

WRATH OF GOD FAILS TO HALT COCKFIGHT CLUB VIDEO SHOOT: Approximately five minutes into last night’s video shoot of the studio footage for Cockfight Club’s “Haulin’ Ass To Hell” video, the Wrath of God descended upon East Tupelo in the form of a severe electrical storm that knocked out power ONLY on our street for several hours. Undaunted, although left with only the feeble light from a cheap glow-in-the-dark Ouija board, Cockfight Club band members adopted a program of drinking and swearing until the power was eventually restored.  Once the lights were back on, Cockfight Club finished the session with all their usual aplomb.  Check the Apparitions/H.A.T.H. gallery on our Photos page for some stills from the shoot, and watch for the completed video soon on the Downloads page!

There is so much cool stuff going on, I don’t know where to begin.

Spent last last weekend burning up the road between Oxford and Clarksdale shooting Apparitions Unrenowned, a film by sometime Cockfight Club contributor Tony Caldwell and starring yours truly!  It is going to be amazing; the raw footage is just beautiful. Some of the footage is also going into Cockfight Club’s Haulin’ Ass To Hell video which should be available here soon. Watch this space for updates!

Also this weekend will see the first official rehearsal of Cockfight Club’s new live line-up. You know what that means?  It means we will be tearing the roof off of a venue near you very soon, so get your ass ready!

Cockfight Club’s “Robot Planet” was played on the 12-18-2005 edition of Cyberage Radio!  If you’ve never checked out Cyberage, you absolutely should.  Every week the one-and-only Tommy T spins five hours of the best industrial, electronic, darkwave, and whatever the hell else he wants to play, and you can stream or download the whole show to listen at your convenience. It was a productive holiday weekend here at Cockfight Club World Headquarters & Chicken Ranch. The tentative line-up for the live band is assembled, and we’re currently working out the logistics of the live show.  I also laid down a few tracks for some new material over the weekend, so keep an eye on the downloads page.  A sneek peek at something new may be coming soon.

And as if that wasn’t enough, today is the official release date of Cockfight Club’s über güber CD!  The CDs are on their way to CD Baby and should be available from their website in a few days, but in the meantime they can be purchased directly from us here at Weapons-Grade Records. Over the next several weeks, other sources should be added, including several of the digital download services, as well as some local stores around the area.

The CD holds 11 tracks of electro-industrial-metal mayhem, including a bonus “Drowning In Blood Mix” of “Vampyric”.
